Music Therapy for Early Childhood Intervention
The Institute for Music and Neurologic Function (IMNF) offers music therapy to individuals in need of early childhood intervention through the IMNF Music Therapy Professionals Practice. Early childhood intervention helps young children (ages 1-3) who are suffering from disabilities, developmental delays and autism.
Music therapy has been found to be an effective method to help children strengthen non-musical areas such as communications skills and physical movement skills. It has also been found to contribute to increased attention, brain stimulation, motivation and mood elevation.
