Music & Memory
Music & Memory is a nationally recognized program that helps individuals living with cognitive and physical challenges reconnect with themselves and others through personalized music. A service of the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function (IMNF), Music & Memory brings decades of impact into a broader vision of music-based health and wellness.
About Music & Memory
Founded on the simple premise that music is deeply tied to memory, identity, and emotion, Music & Memory trains care professionals to create personalized playlists that spark joy, reduce agitation, and reawaken memories—especially for those living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other chronic conditions. As a service of IMNF, the program continues to grow in its reach and clinical relevance, supported by ongoing research and community engagement.
